Happy Halloween!!

Wow! I can't believe the month's over!! Hunter's birthday was on the 1st & it seems like just yesterday!! :( Well, we've prepared all month for the big "trick-or-treat" day & it has come & gone! :( However, we did have a great time!! :) This year, Madelyn chose to be a "rockstar", Noah picked a "wolfman", Hunter chose "Ghost Rider", and Olivia's mom chose for her to be a little fruit dancer, (aka. Carmen Miranda)!! :) - (Don't know who she is, but saw the costume idea & it was so dang cute I just had to make it!!) :) Now, I'm not claiming to be a professional, but I do love making the kid's costumes!! I refuse to buy expensive costumes, when I know I can make them cheaper, (and sometimes), cuter! We always have so much fun looking for the "parts" to each costume!! :)

We started the festivities Tuesday night, with a fun little "party" at Grama's! John was teaching & Shayne was working, so my mom invited us & Tasha & kids over for dinner & fun!!
I love my mom's traditional Owl Cookies - just not Halloween without 'em!! :)
Then, last night, we were invited to join the Fig's for another fun party!! Thanks Kalli, we had lots of fun!! We got so much candy that we didn't really need to go trick-or-treating, but of course we did anyway!! :)

This is a huge (probably about 2 ft.) pumpkin & we filled it 1/2 way full of candy from the party!
Don't ya just love my "witch's fingers"?? I think they look so cool & spooky! :) (Not taking credit - I just followed the recipe!!)

Kids playing the donut game - so fun & funny to watch!! Also a picture of most of the kids from the party - don't ya just love Olivia's little fit???? Thanks, Roxxi for the pictures!! :)
Tonight, we went to my mom's for dinner & then to add to our candy collection in her neighborhood!! (Shayne was hunting, so he didn't get to join us this year!) :( We got even more candy! We only went down a few streets & the kids' bags were packed!! They were even telling us that THEY were done, because they didn't want to carry their bags anymore!! (However, just before getting tired, Hunter told me, "this is the best day - I keep on getting more candy & more candy!!") He was in heaven!! :)

Madelyn the Rockstar :)

Noah the Wolfman :)

Hunter the Ghost Rider :) (Ghost Rider's hair is on fire, hence the red hair! :)

Olivia the little fruit dancer :)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!! We sure did!! :)
