Fun Weekend

We had a pretty good weekend!! On Friday, we just relaxed at home - which was actually nice! Since the weather was kinda nice, we all went out in the back yard! Shayne rigged up a fun "ride" for the kids and they had a blast! We have a bike (big wheel type), that has a handle for pushing, but you can also spin it around & it can become a rocking toy for babies. Well, he put the handle down & tied the jumprope to the bike, and pulled the kids around the yard!! They thought it was so cool!! Shayne got a good work-out & they had so much fun!! :)

Shayne had to work Saturday, but the kids & I went to my mom's. We ate pizza & then headed over to Freestone Park, for the Goodbye to Summer festival!! My mom & John, Tasha, Cory & their kids all went too!! We had lots of fun! The kids bounced on bouncers, went through bouncy obstacle courses, down bouncy slides, made a cool harmonica out of tongue depressors, and got lots of freebies!! :) (That's the part the moms liked!!) :) We went back to my moms, tired & ready to head home! We got to see the fireworks, just as we were getting in the car - awesome seats!! :) Thanks mom for a fun night!! :) (And thanks Tasha for the pictures I stole!!) :)
