Camping . . . AGAIN!

This past weekend, we had our 2nd round of camping for the summer!! We wanted to fit in one last "get-away" before school starts!! This time, we went up to Clints Well - up past Strawberry & Pine. (Basically for Shayne, being that he got drawn in that area for hunting - so yes, he went scouting every morning!!) We got there on Thursday, and the weather was beautiful!! That night, however, we were attacked by millions of mosquitoes!! :( I actually counted 18 bites on my legs, arms & neck!!!! Poor Hunter, had 6 bites on one side of his head & face!! :( Needless to say, Shayne went to the little store & paid $6 for a bottle of bug spray & we were set for the rest of the trip!!

The weather was beautiful - cool & breezy - it rained a few hours on Saturday morning, but was chilly the rest of the day! We had a great time relaxing & enjoying nature! :) My mom & John came up Saturday morning (in the rain), and we had a good time hanging out with them!! The kids went on lots of walks - with Shayne, Grama & Papa, & with each other! (I was there to "relax", being that I never get to sit down at home!!) ;)

Now we're back to the heat & anxiously awaiting school on Wednesday!!! :)

Just like last time - she was irritated when someone sat in her chair!!

Hunter had to bring his police gear!! * Him & mud don't mix well!! * He asked Shayne to find him an "antler" (or "antwoah" as he says - he can't say "L" or "R") ;) - and Shayne actually found this one while scouting!! Hunter was over-joyed & wanted to hold it all weekend!!!

Noah had to climb on everything!! He is so cute with Olivia . . . when he wants to be!! :) * Madelyn & Noah loved playing "Go Fish" - they played EVERY night!!
