Hating Blogger!! :(

Just had to say that I am really hating Blogger right now!! :( I have no idea what is going on with the new template designer, but I don't like it!!! Anyone know how to keep the old template style (ya know, "Minima") - without losing all your gadgets??? I'm not having an issue with my other blogs, just this one!! :( I want to be able to change my backgrounds - like I often do - but it's not letting me!! . . . so sad!!! :(
