Summer, 2012

Geez!!  I guess I completely skipped this summer!!  I've been so busy being a wonderful mom & keeping my kids busy - I just had no time to blog!!!  - - HAHAHAHA!!!  Just kidding!!  ;)  Actually, we tried to keep busy this summer, but given that this is AZ & it was stinkin hot all summer. . . we did what we could!!  :/

Like always - the whole Facebook thing throws off my blogging!!  I put my pictures up there first, because it's quicker!  So - for the 2 of you out there that may not have seen our summer pictures, I'll do a little recap!!  ;)

Scout Camp!!  Noah's second year & he loved it just as much as last year!!  :)

 Disneyland!!!  Olivia's first picture with Minnie!!  We saw her just after walking in!!  The line was pretty short so we ran to get in line!!  We're not character-crazed people, but you gotta have a picture with Minnie!! ;)

 The Pirates of the Caribbean!!  Last time we went, we were so bummed that this ride was closed - - it's NEVER closed!! 

 Roger Rabbit - - the ride we waited the longest for. . . 30 minutes!!  (No, it wasn't worth it!  :(  Hunter's usually a poop & won't smile, but I love his little attitude in this picture!!  ;)

 Huntington Beach

Hunter was quietly drawing on the floor, sitting at the coffee table.  Well, some naughty little 3-year-old decided she was going to jump from the couch onto . . . his head!!  :(  His poor nose smashed into the table!!  Not fun!!  It was swollen & bruised - we thought for sure it was broken!!  Poor guy!!  :(

 Went to Joe's for some delicious Italian Ice!!!  It was so good!!!  Poor Hunter was so self conscious of his nose that he kept his hood on all night!!  (It happened just before we left the room!! )

 We "dog-sat" our neighbor's dog & they let us use their pool while they were gone!!  :)

 Happy 4th of July!!!

 We took the kids to Tonto National Bridge, just pass Payson.  It was so neat!!  It was a little warm, but not too bad!  There was a little breeze, and when the water splashed on us it felt so nice!!

 There were these 2 fish that were swimming in circles - like playing tag or something!  It was kinda funny!! ;)

 These two are always so sweet to each other . . . hope it stays that way!  ;)  (Unless, of course, she decides to jump on his head & practically break his nose or something!!!  ;)

 Camping!!  We went up past Christopher Creek (off of Young Rd. for those of you who know where that is!!  ;)  We were afraid of bears, but the camp host said he'd been there all summer & hasn't seen any!!  Phew!!  ;)

That may not be in complete chronological order. . . but that's our summer in a nutshell!!  We had a great time - did lots of stuff (including a few things I didn't include) - glad it's over & back to school!!  :)  Now - if we could just have the cooler weather that Fall's supposed to bring!!!  ;)
