Well, the long-awaited Cruise was here and gone!! Madelyn had a blast! She went on a 7-day Dream Works Caribbean cruise with Deb, Roxanne (Deb's sister), and Isabela. They flew to Florida on June 25th, and stayed the night in a hotel right on the beach!!! The next day, they got onto the ship & headed out to sea!! They sailed to Nassau, (and went to the awesome Atlantis resort), St. Thomas (and did some shopping) and St. Maarten, (and relaxed at Magens Beach)!! Of course, island-hopping was fun, but being on the ship wasn't all that bad either!! On the ship, Madelyn got to ice skate, zip-line, take Flow Rider lessons (surfing), take a cupcake decorating class, have breakfast with the characters from Shrek, watch parades, watch an ice show (Ice Games), watch a puppet show, and go to a kids club!!!! Then . . . when they got off the ship & went back to Florida, she got to go on a ride across the Everglades & hold a baby alligator!! . . . You know, all the normal stuff that a 10-year-old gets to do!!! ;) She came home July 3rd & we were all excited to see her!! She had a blast, but was very glad to be home! (This was the longest time - by far - that she'd ever been away!!) Thank you Deb for giving Madelyn this awesome experience!!!! :)
