Like always, we had a wonderful Christmas, and if possible, the kids were even more spoiled than last year!!! Shayne had to work Christmas Eve, so the night before, we let the kids open a present & they all got Zhu Zhu pets! They were so excited!! They spent a few hours chasing them around the house! :)
On Christmas Eve, the kids & I went over to Shayne's grandparents' house. We enjoyed some tamales and beans & rice, and visited with family for a while. The kids were so lucky & each came home with a couple gift cards!!!
On Christmas morning, we woke up & started getting ready for our busy day!! When Shayne got home, we opened presents!! The kids each got a ton of stuff just from our house. . . . then we headed out for round 2!! We had our traditional Christmas breakfast at my mom's, then opened presents there! The kids all scored a ton of clothes & toys!! I was so excited & got a waffle maker & a sewing machine!!!! (Already made waffles - now can't wait to sew something!!) ;)
We left my mom's around 3 & stopped back by our house to drop off the new gifts & pick up the gifts to take to Shayne's family! Rudy made a delicious prime rib!!! After eating, we opened another round of presents. . . once again, so lucky!! We all got some awesome gifts!!
Hopefully everyone else had a wonderful Christmas too!! I was kinda bummed not seeing many of MY family members this year!! - - - Next year we're gonna get together. . . OK???!!!! :)
Santa brought a digital camera, purse & Target GC for Madelyn; a Harry Potter Lego set & Lego mat for Noah; a Rescue Heroes play set & an iXL game for Hunter; and a stroller & musical Dora Mega Blok set for Olivia!! (She got the doll from Nana on Christmas Eve!) **Don't know what's up with Hunter's goofy crooked smile - - doesn't even look like him!!!! And, of course, Olivia flashed me one of HER cheesy smiles!! :)
Uhhh - yeah. . . . this pile is all NEW clothes from Christmas!!! That + 3 full hampers = a ton of laundry!!!!
